THE READER: Secret life of Chaos - BBC Four Documentary

The secret life of Chaos
BBC Four Documentary

This particular documentary has changed the way I think about life and I must recommend every one to spend the time (ok, it’s a long film of about 58 minutes but worth every second), if you are interested in knowing answer to a simple question .. How did we get here? This film is a story about bizarre and interconnected discoveries to reveal a hidden face of nature. Same laws that make the universe chaotic and unpredictable can turn simple dust into thinking human being.

You will come across in this video, a great mathematician’s Allan Turing’s – (Who created the foundation of Modern Computers) tragic story as well as his search for a mathematical basis to human intelligence. In this video, you will also find the “God Equation” as well as an interesting “Thumb Print of God” along with famous “Butterfly Effect”

In the end, an exciting research by the founders of “Natural Motion” as they say, ‘Evolution took 3.5 billion years from first sign of life to us ‘human kind’. Computers can now simulate evolution. More precisely, computers now can use the principles of evolution to shape and refine their own program in the same way evolution shapes and refines living organisms. Today now the scientists believe that this evolved software’s can solve the problems that are beyond the smartness of human intelligence’

Hope you enjoy and inspired by the beautiful video about life and its secrets.

  5. this is amazing!
so basically what it's saying is the uncertainty of creation is certain except when human form is involved is what they are not saying?

the creation of being without conscious thought is perhaps chaos. the uncertainty of creation is rather unsettling but yet the surprise and the 'not knowing' of what is to be created is sometimes intriguing but for myself I like the knowing and the certainty.

in knowing a little more about this I am glad that being a human being allows me to change the chaos (uncertainty) into a more beautiful creation by my thoughts and actions. The goodness of our spirits can change many things, our thoughts can change the chemistry in our body to produce either and unhealthy or healthy state of being.

    food for thought!

    this was so interesting, Shashi!
    thank you!

  7. Ultimately, what it comes down to is your belief system. Many people believe in the biblical doctrine that God created the earth and everything in it. Those same people don't believe that we just happened, or just came to be through evolution or some cosmic accident. Yet others don't believe in a God created world, and think that our origin is simply science based. Or any other number of beliefs. Either way, how the world came to be is based on what you believe.
